Thank you for considering a Corporate Team Building Day with Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity. We build and renovate homes for low to moderate income families in need of decent, affordable housing. You don’t have to know a thing about construction to help build a Habitat Home! All you need is enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We provide the tools, training, and encouragement and have projects for all skill levels and interests!


The homes are purchased by our partner families and, like most of us, they will pay a mortgage, property taxes and HO Insurance. They also devote 350 “sweat equity” hours of service in building their own homes. We accomplish all of this through the incredible generosity of community partners who provide critical funding and in-kind services. A portion of this critical, home-building funding comes from our Team Building Program.

You and your colleagues, clients, vendors, members or guests will roll up your sleeves and swing hammers with us, working together to help our partner families achieve their dreams of homeownership.  In exchange for a tax-deductible donation to Habitat, we provide a multitude of benefits to your group including priority scheduling of your exclusive workday, guidance from skilled construction supervisors and all necessary tools/equipment, lunch, Habitat T-Shirts and marketing benefits.


Most importantly, you will make a true and tangible difference in the community where your colleagues, clients and peers work and live. 100% of the funds generated from this program go towards building more local Habitat homes for deserving families in need.


Habitat Team Building Days are an excellent way to get out of your normal working environment for fresh air, exercise and to strengthen bonds between your co-workers. Building with Habitat produces tangible long-term results – you can sit back at the end of the day and admire the work you’ve accomplished together. You will be able to drive past the Habitat home you worked on for years to come and say “We helped build that!”



Team Build FAQ


  • Team Build group size is limited to 10 people per group, per day and all volunteers must be 18+ and sign a waiver.
  • The Team Build donation is due one week prior to scheduled build day which includes a morning construction safety orientation, all tools provided, day long instruction and training from a Build Crew leaders that will be with your group guiding them throughout the day. Lunch and water will be provided along with T-shirts as well as marketing benefits such as group photos with your logo published on our social media pages and finally a tax deductible donation receipt for your business. Habitat Team Build Days are one of our biggest fundraiser's needed in order to build a Habitat home. The proceeds from this donation purchase building supplies, equipment and hire licensed professionals for certain phases of construction (such as plumbing and electricity). Business partnerships and volunteer labor is how we keep homes affordable for our partner families that will have a zero percent interest rate for the duration of their mortgage.


***Community Organizations typically find Team Build Day sponsorship from a local corporation or business seeking to promote corporate social responsibility in the community or we will work with you to create your Team's Peer to Peer Fundraiser. Please contact us for more info.
