Over 120 supporters gathered on Saturday, November 16th, for Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity’s 30th Anniversary Gala at Nashua Country Club, raising more than $50,000. Highlights included a silent auction featuring over 50 packages from local businesses, artists, and restaurants, including items from Barmakian Jewelers, Nashua Center For The Arts tickets, Building Hope custom dollhouses and more. An exciting live auction featured Bruins tickets and memorabilia, a ride to school on a Fire Truck, and custom artwork.
Rise Arts Collaborative kicked off the evening with a live performance of "Seasons Of Love". The Emcee, Mike Morin showcased our live auction, including custom dollhouses from the Building Hope project crafted by Nashua High School South students. The unique creations were auctioned off to support the mission of providing safe, affordable housing for local families. This collaboration not only empowered students with valuable hands-on experience, but also demonstrates the power of community-driven efforts to create lasting change.
Guest speaker and recent homeowner, Iris, spoke about her journey to homeownership and her Habitat home build over the last year. She shared stories of working with the build crew and joked about finally learning what Escrow is.
All proceeds from the gala directly benefits the building, renovating, and repairing affordable homes for local families. Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity would like to extend our gratitude to the countless event supporters, including sponsors, donors, auction bidders, volunteers, guests, and board members who made this year's event such a success.
Special thanks goes out to Symetri, Viking Roofing, Binnie Media, Tito's Vodka, Coca-Cola Northeast, Robin & Rhys Adams, Tulley Automotive Group, Elinjay’s Cake Poppery, Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union, and Baird Home Solutions.
